Study Tour in Barcelona: A Springboard to International Exposure

Since October 21, first-year students of the Grande École Program at Clermont School of Business have been immersed in Barcelona as part of their Study Tour. This intensive three-day program offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the city, its economic dynamism, and its rich cultural heritage.

The Study Tour, custom-designed by the School’s International Relations team, includes visits to leading companies like Keyweo and Infor, networking events with alumni during a friendly afterwork, and tours of Barcelona’s must-see attractions.

One of the main objectives of this trip is to raise students’ awareness of international opportunities from their very first steps in the Grande École Program. With its thriving economic scene and wealth of historical and artistic treasures, Barcelona provides an ideal setting to smartly combine exploration and networking with companies and the School’s alumni.

This immersive experience also includes a visit to IQS Ramon Llull, a partner university of Clermont School of Business. This stop gives students insight into another academic model and highlights the relevance of an international exchange during their time at the School.

A New Environment to Explore

Of course, visits to iconic Barcelona landmarks, such as the famous Sagrada Familia and the picturesque Park Güell, give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the city’s signature architecture, notably discovering Gaudí’s works.

During the Study Tour, students are also encouraged to speak English, helping to improve their language skills in an immersive setting. Additionally, beyond the planned activities, they enjoy free time to explore the city at their own pace, stroll through its markets, visit its beaches, or simply soak in the warm and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Barcelona.
