The "3-Year Excellence Apprenticeship Program" Renewed with the ‘Institut des Métiers de Clermont-Ferrand’

On June 26th, the ESC Clermont Business School and the city of Clermont’s ‘Institut des Métiers’, signed a partnership agreement to renew their “3-Year Excellence Apprenticeship Program.” This partnership aims to expand higher education opportunities for young people by offering a fully sponsored excellence program.

Encouraging High School Students to Pursue Apprenticeship Studies in ESC’s Bachelor Program

The partnership agreement between ESC Clermont Business School and the ‘Institut des Métiers de Clermont-Ferrand’ is part of an initiative to provide support and promote social inclusion, offering high school graduates the opportunity to engage in a three-year, fully apprenticeship-based training program.

With this agreement, both institutions aim to accelerate their joint policy. By pooling their resources, they intend to identify talents who, despite their potential, were not planning on pursuing their studies after graduating from high school. The scheme will provide them with the tools for a successful academic journey.

Two New Features in the Program:

  • ESC Clermont Business School will provide financing to give teachers from the ‘Institut des Métiers’ the opportunity to engage in research activities in the fields of management and business.
  • A Project for International Development and Collaboration.

A 3-Year Excellence Apprenticeship Program: A 2-year BTS and 1-year in the ESC’s Bachelor-degree program.

More specifically, the 3-year excellence program will start with a two-year BTS program at the ‘Institut des Métiers’followed by a one-year apprenticeship in the final year of ESC Clermont’s bachelor program.

This partnership will enable over 40 BTS apprentices in Operational Commercial Management (MCO) and Negotiation and Digitalization of Customer Relations (NDRC) to join the school in the final year of the ESC Bachelor-Degree program starting in September. Throughout their studies, they will be given combined support from mixed teams and course leaders from both institutions. This will allow them to familiarize themselves with the ESC Clermont BS environment and prepare for the entrance exam during their BTS years. Additionally, exclusive Bachelor apprenticeship entrance exam days will be organized for them.

All 5 BTS programs offered by the ‘Institut des Métiers’ are covered by this partnership:

  • Negotiation and Digitalization of Customer Relations
