Flore Roussel becomes Head of the Bachelor in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Management

After working for several years as a marketing strategy instructor at ESC Clermont Business School, Flore Roussel has been appointed Head of the Bachelor in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Management program. With 17 years of experience in management, teaching, and support, Flore Roussel has been contributing her expertise to the DMECM program since June 1, 2024.

A graduate with a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Project Innovation, Flore Roussel began her career at Babymoov, a leading childcare company founded by three ESC Clermont BS alumni. She worked there for 10 years in various roles, including Product Manager, Marketing and Product Design Manager, and finally Director of Innovation and Product Marketing.

In addition to her work at Babymoov, Flore Roussel shared her experience by lecturing at ESC Clermont BS and coaching start-ups in its incubator. These roles marked her first steps toward teaching, beyond her managerial responsibilities.

With a growing interest in entrepreneurship, she became involved in several start-up projects and supported business leaders in optimizing their offerings, digitalizing their marketing strategies, and developing their communication strategies.

Her diverse professional experiences and growing passion for mentoring and teaching led her to join ESC Clermont BS as Head of the DMECM – Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Management Bachelor program.

Committed, attentive, and deeply invested in interacting with her students, Flore Roussel has taught in both the Bachelor and MBA Executive Master in Management programs at ESC Clermont BS for the past seven years.

While continuing to teach, Flore Roussel will assume her role as Head of the DMECM program, where she aims to enhance its national and international reputation and develop impactful educational projects. She will oversee and coordinate the teaching team and ensure the development and success of students from their first year through to graduation.

With teaching, I’ve found new meaning in my professional journey and a perfect balance between my area of expertise, digital marketing, and the human dimension through teaching and the rich exchanges with students.
